Current Students
The EKMTC-Hosanna Student Council represents the college’s student body and serves as the connection between the student body and the EKMTC administration. The Student Council is also accountable for encouraging community life and worship, organizing student special events, representing student concern to the dean of students.
- The Student Council consists of five-elected student representatives. A meeting of the whole student body elects the student representatives through the dean of students. All are elected for a two-semester period or for a year of service with a possible re-election. Election of candidates will be conducted at the beginning of the first semester of the academic year.
2. The Council chairperson acts as the representative for the students and represents the student body at meetings of the EKMTC Faculty Council. - In the absence of the chairperson, the vice chairperson takes responsibility of the affairs of the student body and represents the Student Council in meetings, etc.
- The Secretary of the council serves in organizing records and taking minutes during meetings.
- The other members of the Council participate in meetings and support the Council in different areas where they are needed.
- The Student Council will work in close collaboration with the dean of Students so as to act upon matters of common concern. Whenever the Student Council has questions and suggestions relating to academic and administrative issues, it must bring such questions and suggestions through the dean of studies.
